IonQ's Algorithmic Qubit Token (AQT) is a pricing unit that captures circuit complexity — not just shot count. The formula weights single-qubit gates (0.000220 per gate per shot) and two-qubit gates (0.000975 per gate per shot) on top of a base charge that depends on whether error mitigation is enabled.
Amazon Braket uses a simpler per-shot model ($0.03/shot) rather than AQT. For circuits with many two-qubit gates, AQT pricing via Azure or IonQ Direct can be significantly cheaper.
